A collaborative project of creatives, activists, local historians, Govanites and Glasgow Museum staff who aim to recover, resuscitate, and reenact the voices of women in local protest movements using socially-engaged/performative methods. Our focus includes 1915 Rent Strikes,1971 Upper Clyde Shipbuilder's Work-In, and 1996 Kinning Park Complex Sit-In. The project has produced oral histories, archival research, Wikipedia Edit-A-Thons, talks, and guided public 'artwalks' highlighting these hidden histories. Riverside Museum and Govan's Riverside, Glasgow.
